Kids FUN RUN – $12 per participant
The Kids Fun Run will be held in Hersheypark Stadium on Saturday, October 20 at 5:15 PM. Children ages 2-13 are welcome to participate. The Fun Run is open only to children who are affiliated with a runner of the Hershey Half Marathon on Sunday. The Hershey’s Product Characters will be there to cheer our runners on!
The Fun Run is intended to be a fun event for children. No “winners” will be designated. Heats will be conducted in the following age categories:
Ages 2 and 3
Ages 4 and 5
Ages 6 and 7
Ages 8 and 9
Ages 10 and 11
Ages 12 and 13
The event is held on the track at Hersheypark Stadium. The race distances are dependent on the ages of the children. We’ll begin with the youngest runners with a short distance (approx. 30 meters) and will gradually increase the distance with each age group. The oldest runners will run approximately 300 meters.
Each participant will receive a Fun Run T-shirt and a sweet treat. (Note: T-shirts will only be provided to those who register by October 1.)
Registration Fee is $12 for the Fun Run. Children must be affiliated with a runner in the Half Marathon to participate. All registration will occur online. No day-of registrations will be provided. Fun Run registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum number of Fun Run participants is 600. Last Year the Fun Run sold out – so register early!
