Welcome to the Hershey Half Marathon, sponsored by Capital BlueCross. Join us for a 13.1 mile race through Hershey, The Sweetest Place On Earth. Your run will take you by and through many iconic Hershey landmarks including Hersheypark, and down Chocolate Avenue featuring our famous Hershey's Kisses streetlights! Cash prizes awarded, and a portion of net proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network.
New for 2013, you can help support CMN directly by setting up your own fundraising page where family and friends can pledge donations to encourage you through your race and improve the lives of children in central Pennsylvania.
Event Overview
Starting and ending at Hersheypark Stadium, participants will race 13.1 miles through Hersheypark and through Chocolate Town, U.S.A, passing unique landmarks including Milton S. Hershey’s High Point Mansion, and streetlights shaped like Hershey’s Kisses. Water/aid stations will be available throughout the course, including a unique Chocolate Aid station, to assist runners toward the finish line. All participants must be 14 and older.
A portion of net proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network which supports the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital by purchasing state-of-art equipment and supporting vital programs. All dollars raised locally stay local. Throughout the route, look for our Miracle Children from the Children’s Hospital as they cheer you on!
